Account Director, Branding and Packaging Agency, Gloucestershire, 36,000-42,000, 12 month maternity contract/perm

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Account Director to join a great Branding and Packaging Agency based in Gloucestershire, commutable from Bristol, Cheltenham and Gloucester.

The purpose of this exciting opportunity is to manage a number of clients with the support of a team of account managers. You would be required to deliver strategic direction and guidance to the clients briefs, as well as managing and developing them. The successful candidate will have strong communication and project management skills as well as client development skills to maximise opportunities within their client base.

As Account Director you will have the following responsibilities:

- A directive approach to giving clear strategy and guidance to clients
- Collaborate effectively with the Creative Directors to deliver best in class design work
- Management of various client brand and packaging design projects
- Attending client meetings to take briefs, give input and present work
- Develop design briefs and briefing design and artwork teams

As Account Director you will have the following skills and experience:

- Previous agency experience, ideally within brand and packaging
- Strong project management skills
- Strong financial skills, including budget management, profitability management and negotiation skills
- Highly organised with a positive can-do attitude
- Previous experience working at Account Director level
