Contract: 12 months

Rate: £25.00 - £30.00 per hour

The Company:

Our client is a leading aerospace client, dealing in the design, development and manufacture of electronic control systems for aero gas turbine engines.

The Role:

Our client is looking to recruit a number of accounts controllers to support their busy electronics and manufacturing teams. As Account Controller you will be responsible for managing selected suppliers on a day to day basis. Working with suppliers through the full project life cycle, the account controller will be responsible for agreeing monthly KPIs with suppliers, and ensuring that suppliers meet their targets for projects.

The Account Controller will work with analyse reports and monitor stock positions in the MRP system to identify any shortages. If shortages are noted the Account Controller will work with relevant suppliers to resolve the shortages, and present the results and forwards actions to the client. The Account Controller is also responsible for maintaining commercial agreements with supplier and ensuring the sustainability of the Account Review Process.

Some travel to supplier sites may be required but this will be infrequent.

The Candidate:

Qualified to CIPS level, you will have experience of managing suppliers within a manufacturing environment. You will have previous experience working in a supply chain or procurement position and will be able to analyse data and work with suppliers to improve supplier performance. Ideally you will have knowledge of electronic components, or complex machine parts developed from working in an aerospace environment but candidates with relevant experience from other similar regulated industries such as automotive will also be strongly considered.
