ACCESS SENIOR DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

ROLE
The team focuses primarily on ensuring timely and effective processing for the relevant client groups.
Maintaing existing MS Access databases along with running scheduled and ah-hoc reporting for regional business management.
Experience with development of enterprise level end to end software applications (UI, Middle Tier, Backend Integration) is required.
TASKS
Become an expert on the internal system
Analysis and manipulation of large data sets
Performing data auditing and validation
Performing data mapping, data loading and conversion
Preparation of MI reports and/or automation of the production of reports utilising MS Access and MS Excel
Load databases monthly with information feeds
Resolving data issues or discrepancies
Liaison with internal departments to retrieve data
Ongoing maintenance of documentation outlining functionality of database
Write technical specifications
Process Map data flows
Ad-hoc requests from management and countries supported
REQUIREMENTS
Experience working with databases/systems
Demonstrated experience of optimization in processes involving legal/regulatory adherence an advantage
Advanced Microsoft Access and SQL, and some VBA.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data manipulation, pivot tables etc.)
Advanced Microsoft Powerpoint
MIS and metrics and efficiency analysis skills
