Projektbeschreibung

The Program Manager for Postdoctoral Fellows is responsible for creating, overseeing, and marketing programs and events for ~1,200 postdoctoral fellows in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (SOM). The position reports to the Associate Dean for Postdoctoral Affairs, and works closely with several SOM offices, including but not limited to: JHM Professional and Career Development Office; Marketing and Communications, Business Development and Strategic Alliance, Johns Hopkins International, and the Johns Hopkins Postdoctoral Association.

Working closely with stakeholders, including but not limited to the JHU Postdoctoral Association and Associate Dean for Postdoctoral Affairs Advisory Board, assess needs for programming that supports the professional success of SOM postdoctoral fellows. Develop plans for meeting programming needs. Work closely with the JHM Professional and Career Development Office to create coursework, symposia, and other opportunities useful for postdoctoral fellows' professional development and in concert with recommendations from NIH with regard to research trainees. Track changes in NIH recommendations and guidelines; inform the Advisory Board and other stakeholders of changes. Work closely with the SOM Marketing and Communications Departmentstrengthen existing and build new partnerships.
