Aberdeen Software Tester Role

I am currently looking for a Software Tester/Engineer to join an Oil and Gas Company in the Aberdeen Market place. My client specialises in offshore communication and technology, and are looking to expand their team of Software Engineers.

I am looking for someone who can analyse, design, implement and test embedded firmware and software with a Sub sea technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide High Quality Test Solutions for ongoing software development

Work closely with hardware to independently solve problems and propose new development.

Work with external developers to ensure consistency in approach and adherence to best practices throughout the produce life cycle.

I am looking for a tester, who is a self starter and is looking for fantastic career opportunities. Candidates must have

A Electronic/Electrical Engineering and or Masters Degree

C++ and or Linux skills

Scripting and data language experience

Minimum 2 years testing experience

Nice to have

GUI Development and Subsea Technologies.
