ABAP IS-U Developer - 2 year Contract

Next Ventures is urgently looking for a SAP ABAP Developer with IS-U Consultant with for a role based in. This role would prefer a Dutch and French speaker but if you only speak one of the languages then still please apply.

Scope:

Development, test and document application code according to the standards and based on the technical and functional specifications. for the project implementat
ion MIG6.(SAP ISU). Also you can be assigned for the maintenance, bugfixing and user support. Assignments are sent by the IS-U modules specialists. Knowledge of MIG6 is very important

Technical Skills required:

- Very good knowledge of ABAP and the ABAP workbench.
- Very good knowledge of SAP IS-U.
- Object-oriented programming
- Development, debugging and optimalization (performance improvement and problem solving) of Z-programs, user exits and function modules.
- Build workflows
- Goiod knwoledge of Web Dynpro, BOR objects, IDOC and Proxy service.
- Knowledge of BSP is an asset.
- Good knowledge of different marketscenarios within the energy market.
- KNOWLEDGE OF MIG6 IS VERY IMPORTANT

Experience:

- min. 6 years of experience in a similar fnction: ABAP programmer
- experience in projects of maintenance on complex SAP systems
- Practical experience with ABAP Web Dynpro, IS-U & workflows.
- You are willing to learn to work into the applications and implemented processes.
- Experience with an agile project methodology is important.
- Experience in optimizing existing Z- programs.
- Experience with ITIL-processes/process minded organisation is a plus
- Experience in the utility sector is a plus

Tasks:
- Write, test and document the code in de development environment using the technical specs from

the analyst.
- Documentation and knowledge transfer to colleagues.
- Taking into account the development and internal IT standards.
- Apply the change and release management process.
- You give technical advice to the analyst and designer.
- Evaluation of the technical feasibility of the requests..
- Handling tickets regarding the incident management process.
- Will report to the involved domainexperts and designers.
- Document existing and new functionalities.
