Ab Initio Developer

Reporting to the Integration Development Manager, you will be a senior Ab Initio MDH Consultant with demonstrable development experience, with a focused on MDH

You may also be expected to work on other development areas such as analysis, architecture and design as required by the company.

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Extensive experience of the Meta data hub
- Significant Ab Initio Design and Development Experience within technically challenging project environments
- Good knowledge of the Ab Initio toolset including GDE, Web Services, >Expressit, >Conductit, Control Center
- Experience of development using Unix Shell Scripts
- Ability to challenge projects and negotiate for non functional changes to be incorporated

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

- Experience of development within IBM WebSphere MQ
- Some exposure to Message Broker and Data Power
- Experience of Development within DB2
- Agile Development Methodologies
- Experience of development within data warehouse environments
- Experience of Financial Services or Payment Services Industry
