A/V Technician

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a COMMUNICATIONS DESKSIDE TECHNICIAN to join our client in Luling, LA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support site-wide communications systems (telephone/radio/video conferencing)
- Manage end user device set-up/configuration
- Engage vendors to provide support contracts on communication system infrastructure
- Manage replacement life cycle and inventory for hand-held radio units
- Deploy/recover desktop and laptop computers to plant users
- Provide direction and escort to 3rd party vendors as a Certified Representative
- Troubleshoot local IT user tickets which cannot be handled by global support
- Provide troubleshooting and maintenance support for site-wide printer fleet
- Support A/V systems (projectors/audio/plant TV) within the facility
- Execute plant data back-up strategy by monitoring tape-backups, exchanging tapes and validating that DRP vendor (Iron Mountain) has latest versions
- Provide onsite support for server/network hardware issues as directed by global infrastructure teams

Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Experience supporting A/V systems (projectors/audio/TV)
- Ability to troubleshoot local IT tickets
- Experience providing onsite support for server/network hardware issues
