A and E , Emergency Consultants

Applications are invited for the above full-time posts to commence as soon as possible at an NHS Foundation Trust, within a busy acute hospital serving the local population.

The Department consists of 10 Consultants (including these posts), 4 Specialty Doctors, 6 Specialty Trainees (ST3-6 level), 5 GPVTS, 2 ACCS, 4 FY2, 14 Clinical Fellows (ST1-3 equivalent) and 1 Clinical Assistant.
The pattern of work will cover duties on a shift basis including weekends. The on calls will be shared amongst the Consultants - the rota provides internal cover for annual and study leave according to the "Way Ahead".

The Hospital has always been renowned for its friendly atmosphere and excellent working relationships. We have an excellent reputation for junior staff training, and many students apply to become doctors here.
Applicants must be fully registered on the UK General Medical Council's Specialist Register. Specialist Registrars may apply if within six months of obtaining CCT at the date of interview.
The appointment will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check for the successful candidate prior to commencement.
