A and E/Accident and Emergency Operational Manager

My Client, an NHS organisation in the Midlands is looking to engage an Interim Operational Manager for Accident and Emergency/Emergency Care for a period of 6 months. This role will operate predominantly within the main hospital site but may require dual working across a further site within the trust.

The trust is currently looking at delivering change within A and E/Emergency Care from an overall strategic perspective and therefore require additional management support at an operational level This is a day to day management role providing support to the existing structure.

The priorities for the role are: Supporting existing staff - supporting the A and E teams, Bed management Patient Flow - managing patients through the system in a timely and efficient manner Delivering to performance targets

They are looking to engage a hands on individual who is able to support A and E staff from a front line perspective. The ideal candidate for this role will have operational experience in and A and E/Emergency setting and will be able to offer support to key staff with a collaborative management style.
