Yumez is a startup company born in 2010 with the challenge of creating an innovative hand-held, low cost, state-of-
the-art, 12-leads electrocardiograph(named ECG4U) having the quality equivalent to that of the top ECG devices 

used in hospitals. This device can be used by both cardiologists and patients. The patients upload their ECGs to 
company’s servers and get back the diagnostic results from the cardiologists associated with  the company’s 
service.  
Role: Senior Software Engineer(as freelancer) 
Responsible for creating the entire software infrastructure that supports the service associated with the device 
ECG4U. 
Selected Achievements  



Analyzed, designed, implemented and tested the desktop applications - PhysicianClient and PatientClient - 
in order to support the communication with the device via USB and to represent graphically the ECG signals 
for analyses and diagnostic purpose.  



Designed and created a scalable service infrastructure as support for the communication between the 
patients and the physicians associated with the service.  



Participated in writing the documentation necessary for CE-Mark of Class II Medical Device under ISO-
13485, UNI-EN-60601-1 and Risk Management under ISO-14971.
