Wireless Hardware Test Engineer

Candidate needed for HARDWARE SUBSYSTEM VERIFICATION OF WIRELESS HARDWARE PRODUCTS in the areas of wireless performance and product characterization. Focus will be on POST-SILICON VALIDATION of BLUETOOTH WIRELESS DEVICES.

RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:

- Defining special test requirement based on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi standards
- Developing utilities to automate wireless chip and hardware platform testing and characterization
- Executing automated design verification systems to characterize wireless chipset functional performance
- Analysis of technical issues, such as system performance analysis, to isolate issue within hardware, system, or software
- Compiling data and defining changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, test processes, and new testing requirements
- Data collection and analysis of test results
- Presentation of relevant data per test case
- Working closely across functional teams (software, firmware, RF, Systems) to develop comprehensive test and verification deliverables

REQUIREMENTS

- 3-5 years minimum experience in hardware test automation
- Hands-on experience in development and execution of automated test utilities with experience in characterization of wireless hardware platforms
- Basic understanding of the use and automated control of test equipment utilized in wireless hardware characterization

ADDITIONAL SKILLS (NICE TO HAVE)

- Direct experience with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
- Hands-on hardware repair, soldering, rework, ECO`s
- Hands-on experience with manual operation of RF test equipment
