Windows Administrator

Windows Administrator is required to join a leading consultancy in Zurich on a final markets project. As the Windows Administrator you will be responsible for the software integration for Windows based Client and server applications, support and administration of development infrastructure, 3rd Level Support for solutions in production and Developing Windows based custom components.

Skills and experience required:

* Windows operating system on client (WXP, Win7) and server (WSP - W2K8) Windows software distribution and packaging mechanisms
* Scripting (batch processes, Perl, SQL)
* Programming experience (at least basic knowledge): Visual Studio environment, .NET framework
* Integration of 3rd party components
* Problem analysis in a complex environment with remote, multi-tiered installations
* IT Security (authentication, authorisation, cryptography, certificate mgmt, etc.)
* Experience with UNIX (Solaris, Linux) as a system engineer would be a plus
* Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, XML, Perl, Shell Scripting and packaging would be beneficial
* DB Experience (Oracle), knowledge of storage and archiving solutions would be a plus
* Languages: English (fluent), German (not mandatory)

My client is offering an initial 6 months contract.
