Windows 8 Architect/SCCM 2012 (Consultant) - 6 month rolling contract - Dublin City Centre
Multinational Financial Services group, seek a Windows 8.1 professional.
You will be working on a team focusing on the development and support of the Windows 8.1 and Windows 8.1 phone standard operating environment. Other responsibilities include the administration of Group Policy, Active Directory, SCCM 2012, MDT and other key support services.
The role will involve implementing client technologies projects as they arise as well as on-going BAU activities. The role is service oriented so strong communication skills, organisational skills and customer focus are essential.
Duties
- Work closely with the Engineering team members to support the Windows 8.1 phone and Windows 8.1 mobile computing projects.
o Participate in the design and implementation of the Windows 8.1 phone and mobile computing products, configuration of the associated deployment tools (MDT, SCCM 2012, Group Policy)
o Participate in the testing and deployment of the Windows 8.1 products
o Developing and maintains operational documentation and specifications on system builds and configurations
- Provide 3rd level client technology support where required
Experience
- Previous design and implementation experience with Windows 8.1 phone and Windows 8.1
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science or other technical field, or equivalent.
- 2+ years SCCM administration experience (application deployment, security patching, mobile device management)
- Experience with PKI, user and computer certificate authorities
- Administration Experience with DNS, DHCP, AD
- 3+ years hands experience with Windows OS Image creation for large multi-national environments
- In Depth experience designing, managing and implementing group policy and group policy preferences
- Proficiency in use of Powershell or VBscript
- In depth knowledge of the Windows 8.1 phone and Windows 8.1 OS
- Experience implementing OneDrive, Applocker and associated Windows 8.1 technologies
- Experience implementing and administering IPSEC VPNs would be advantageous
- Experience with AppV and Citrix would be advantageous
- Experience implementing and administering Bitlocker would be advantageous
- Experience in complex, large-scale implementations and product rollouts
