Windows 7 Technician

*WINDOWS 7 TECHNICIAN REQUIRED*

We're looking for qualified Technicians with A+ certification and a background with printers as well as desktop and laptop PCs.

CANDIDATE WILL:

- Assist in analysis and coordination of migrating computers to the Windows 7 operating system for employees across the Transmission business unit.
- Research and analyze installed software to ensure the suitability to migrate to Windows 7.
- Conduct end-user interviews to support the deployment schedule.
- Collaborate on an on-going basis with stakeholders and apply proven communications, analytical and problem solving skills to proactively assist in the migration to the Windows 7 operating system.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

- Experience with Lenovo Laptops, Dell Desktops, HP Printers, WIN XP/Win 7 OS, Imaging
- A+ certification (required)
- Fundamental understanding of project management concepts - able to plan and manage activities
- Understand the difference between operating system platforms and software applications
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple tasks while under pressure
- Great customer service skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated and self-directed individual
- Logical and efficient with keen attention to detail
