Websphere Application Server Administrator

You will work in an international environment, part of a currently 3 persons headed team in the IT division

The team is responsible for 4 WebSphere Application Server environments hosting approximately 90 applications.

Upcoming project for migration towards WebSphere 8.5

This responsibility includes maintenance, upgrading, capacity planning, and architectural and infrastructure improvements.

The team is point of contact for our developers, helpdesk and operations support as well as providing support during application development projects.

Within the team, you will be primarily involved in the day-to-day activities.

As part of the WebSphere Application support team, knowledge of following technologies is a strong advantage:

- Scripting language (Perl, Jython)

YOUR PERSONAL PROFILE:

bachelor/master degree or experience in the field

working knowledge of Linux and Windows

in-depth familiar with WebSphere Application Server
