Website UX Developer

Our client is the NORTHWEST\'S SIGNATURE SOFTWARE BRAND looking for an EXPERIENCED SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER who is skilled at developing BEST-IN-CLASS USER EXPERIENCES using the latest web technologies. The team is chartered to lead innovations in experiences that have a huge potential to make learning more engaging for millions of people who want to learn about widely used software products. RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Be the subject matter expert in web-based user experience technologies
- Create quick prototypes and following up with production-grade, performant experiences
- Execute high-quality features in a timely fashion
- Participate in design and code reviews - help maintain high bug bar for UX across the team
- Work effectively across the team to bring up the level of expertise in web technologies

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years of proven experience in designing, developing and shipping production quality web based user experiences
- Expert knowledge in JavaScript, jQuery/AJAX, MVC, HTML/DHTML, CSS, and ASP.NET
- Passion for building well-designed, beautiful user experiences
- Strong coding and design fundamentals
- Knowledge in C#, SQL,.NET, Windows Azure, and/or SharePoint a big plus

This contract position is expected to be 6 months in duration with possibility of extension.
