Our HIGH-VISIBILITY CLIENT is looking for TOP-FLIGHT WEB DEVELOPMENT GURUS who are passionate about creating the ABSOLUTE BEST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE for CLOUD CONTENT customers. For this position, the top priority is the customer experience and you will be pushed to think first from the customer's perspective and identify and solve the business and technical problems that will enable the client to amaze and delight digital media customers. Consider the challenges you personally face today as a consumer of digital content. Do you find it challenging to keep track of your entire content collection? Should it be easier to listen to your music and watch your movies on your laptop, cell phone, and connected living room device? What does the perfect media integration solution look like? In this role you will have the opportunity to tackle these questions and more as you help our client build a new product that will change the way customers store and access their digital content.

We want someone who can work well in a heterogeneous environment of different languages and technologies, and can bring flexibility, speed and quality to the team. You should be a master Front End Developer who can build amazing UI experiences using minimal HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Your skills in this area make those around you stare in awe. In addition, you should have a solid background in the fundamentals of software development and a deep understanding of best practices in various languages/technologies. You should love creating things and take great personal pride in building cool user interfaces for customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in XHTML, JavaScript, CSS and general Web 2.0 techniques
- Experience developing AJAX interfaces with AJAX libraries and frameworks (eg JQuery, JSON, etc.)
- OO design and coding skills in Java
- Experience in a Unix/Linux environment
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with REST and RPC service patterns and other Client Server interaction models
- Experience with web service technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST
- Experience in common Internet technologies (eg HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX)
- Experience in programming languages beyond Java and C++ (eg Ruby, Python, Perl)
- College Degree, preferably in computer science or a similar technical discipline
- Fluency in a language other than English
