Validation Engineer with C, C++, PERL

For this contract position with a WORLD-RENOWNED COMPUTER MANUFACTURING COMPANY, we need a candidate able to complete small x86 core validation in order to enable use in a client SOC. This VALIDATION ENGINEER will write x86 assembly tests to validate the small IA core. Also s/he will port/recover Legacy x86 tests to run in new validation environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 2-3 years' experience in validation
- Knowledge of IA architecture and x86 assembly language
- Knowledge of C++ programmer language
- Knowledge of Verilog and System Verilog
- Knowledge of Perl
- Knowledge of VCS simulation

Estimated length of assignment: Up to 26 weeks

Estimated hours per week: 40 hours
Overtime not permitted without approval
