Transport Planning Manager (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Truck forecasting
-Aligning transport needs with carriers and obtaining their confirmation for required capacities
-Truck planning and scheduling in TMS
- Implementation of new transport lines
-Key interface between carriers and our warehouses
-Root-cause and corrective actions related to transport deviations
-Cooperation with internal departments
-Monitoring of key metrics related to truck volumes, costs and performance

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in logistics & supply chain, ideally in the Transport Management or Transport planning field
- Experience and willingness to schedule trucks where needed
-Openness to learn and use a new TMS (Eyefreight)
-High level of Ownership and Bias for Action
-Strong motivation and ownership, you are eager to continuously improve
-Enjoys working independently as well as in a team and across teams
-Ability to interact & communicate with various stakeholders at all levels in order to foster close collaboration and negotiations
-You have profound knowledge in Office skills
-You have the will and ability to quickly get deeply involved in complex contexts and to persistently pursue the set goal. At the same time, you do not lose sight of the big picture
- Focus on customer experience, analytical mind, profound communication skills
-Considers problems as opportunities and enjoys proposing required solutions
