Test Manager - French/Dutch Speaking

Proteus Europe is searching for a French and Dutch speaking Tester to start a contract within our clients' Employee Benefits and Health Care department.

Our Client:-
Our client is a large player in the Insurance industry. They are based in the centre of the historic and beautiful city of Brussels.

Your New role:-

The Employee Benefits and Health Care department is continuously working on its applications to enhance them. Together with the usual recurrent effort (maintenance), there are a lot of projects to begin in the coming years.

We are actively searching a polyvalent, French and Dutch speaking Test Manager/Tester (specification and execution) who will work in a small 'IT testing team' in order support projects manager to set up, take part in and follow up the test strategies of their projects.

The main activities of the 'testing team' are:

- Test strategies set up,
- Test effort evaluation,
- Test planning set up and follow-up,
- Test scenarios redaction
- Test scenarios execution
- When needed, coaching people in development teams in order to improve the quality of their tests,
- Non regression testing before each delivery (partly automated),
- Improving the process and the tools used.

The key tasks of the test manager are:

- To evaluate the testing effort and the planning of a project
- To put in place tests strategies
- To take part in testing scenarios redaction and execution in collaboration with analysts of the different domains
-To organise Monitoring and Reporting in collaboration with IT projects managers and the business
- To manage the other type of test such as:
- Regression tests
- Performance tests
- Security tests

To function effectively, the Test Manager is required to conceptualize and think abstractly, work in a technically complex and heterogeneous environment, and effectively communicate with all stakeholders of the projects.

Your Skills and experience:-

Essential Skills:-
-YOU MUST BE FLUENT IN FRENCH OR DUTCH WITH AT LEAST A GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF THE OTHER LANGUAGE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE. THESE LANGUAGE SKILLS ARE MANDATORY.
-Good passive knowledge in modelling applications and processes, Functional analysis 5-10 years
-Excellent knowledge of MS Office Tools
-Understanding of relevant technologies and development life cycles
-Good knowledge and experience in test process and methodology
-Setting up test strategies of projects
-Data and environment preparation

Desirable Skills :-
-Knowledge of Employee Benefits and/or Health Care Insurance
-Knowledge of DB2P/Sigedis declaration's context
-Business Intelligence/DWH testing experience
-Cobol, DB2, SQL, .Net
-Quality Center and QTP tools
