Technical Writer - Orchard Hills - 12 Month Contract

Our client is an internationally known organisation that focus on providing services to government, aerospace, security type clientele. They are in the market currently looking for an experienced Technical Writer for an initial 12 month period to be based at Orchard Hills! Please note; from time-to-time, you will also be required to travel to various sites!

In this role, you will be focused on publishing technical documentation in relation to working with/storing/maintaining explosive and ammunition devices! You will be actively involved in liaising with various stakeholders and understanding their needs and developing the material to assist them in future!

In order to be considered successful in obtaining this role, you will be required to have the following background and experience:

- Previous background in developing/writing technical documentation
- Experience within the warehousing, stores or engineering type environment would be held in high regard!
- Currently hold an NV-1 or baseline security clearance
- Intermediate to expert knowledge of MS Word for Windows (including advanced template concepts, formatting)
- Experience in managing technical documentation life-cycles
- Aptitude and experience for interpreting technical engineering information (drawings and manuals)
