For a 3 month project with our customer in Basel, we are looking ASAP for a Technical Writer
Tasks:
- Technical Writer role for SACM in GEMINI Configuration and Asset Management work stream.
- Contribute to GEMINI Configuration and Asset Management specific goals and objectives.
- Report to GEMINI Configuration and Asset Management Leadership teams.
Requirements:
- Assists higher level technical writers with writing and editing technical documentation.
- Under supervision, may assist with modifications to existing technical documentation.
- Work is assigned and general instructions given for routine work; more detailed instruction is provided for new projects.
- Applies knowledge of company policies and standard practices to resolve problems.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good written communication skills in relation to technical documentation Understands the Impact of Customer Satisfaction. Written communications are coherent and accurate.
- Gauges how quality/reliability/timeliness affect the customers work/issues and their perception of ResCap.
- Communications demonstrate concern and interest in the customers problems and needs. Communicates frequently with the customer about the status of activities.
- Applies new technical approaches to best resolve customer problems.
- Keeps up-to-date with new approaches in the field.
- Considers cost of various business actions or alternatives in determining customer solutions.
- Understands the customers of the IT organization and demonstrates a clear commitment to their satisfaction.
- Understands how to work flexibly within organizational policies/procedures.
- Breaks down a problem into smaller parts.
- Makes multiple causal links: Several potential causes or events, several consequences of actions, or multiple-part chains of events (A leads to B leads to C leads to D).
- Analyses relationships among several parts of a problem or situation.
- Anticipates obstacles and thinks ahead about next steps.
