Enterprise Desktop Customer Services (EDCS) plays a pivotal role in support of the Client Security Roadmap Project (SRP). Assistance is needed to work on the testing, deployment, and documentation of new technology or the upgrade of existing technology in order to fulfil the requirements of the SRP.  The technology involved includes, but is not limited to, McAfee Antivirus, User Manager Pro, and Group Policy Objects.

PROJECT SCOPE/TASKS

The scope of this project encompasses the following tasks:

- Assist Enterprise Desktop Customer Services (EDCS) with planning and developing security activities and functions in support of the unit
- Must write documentation for test cases and use cases
- Must develop user guides, deployment procedures, and end-user support documentation
- Must participate in technical meetings and working sessions with staff/team members 
- Provide status updates as required by management
- Must facilitate meetings
- Must provide draft documentation to management for review and approvals
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, research skills, and the ability to convey ideas, thoughts, processes, etc. through varied channels such as white papers, presentations, memorandums, etc.
- Gather and research technical information for use in documentation activities.
- Function as a member of a cross-functional team in a structured environment; collaborate with management to produce documentation based on established deadlines and milestones.
- Understand, develop, write and maintain technical processes with the ability to effectively communicate this understanding in writing for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop proficiency in Client internal processes and guidelines. Adhere to Client standards, including templates and style guides.
- Possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills; detail oriented with the ability to apply logic in order to formulate solutions for complex problems.
- The ability to interact professionally with a diverse group such as executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- The ability to manage a dynamic workload - one with multiple deadlines, concurrent work activities, as well as inter-related and unrelated priorities.
