Technical Consultant SMTP Gateway & Migration Experience

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION (SNR.) TECHNICAL CONSULTANT

The description of activities for the senior technical consultant are:

- Thorough inventory of Applications and systems utilizing the SMTP server
- Thorough inventory of Stakeholders and involved parties, including (Functional) Application Managers
- Inventory of performed actions, projects, documentation and organization that will be part of this process
- Detailed migration plan where per application is determined what the best scenario is to migrate the SMTP functionality, including testing, sequence of events and a planning for all applications
- Tested Fall back plan per Business critical application
- Communication model
- Execution of the migration plan
- Per application there will be a sign-off for acceptance
- Evaluation of the migration
- Delivery, handover to service management and decharge

FUNCTIE EISEN

- Indepth knowledge of SMTP protocol and mailprotocols in general
- Familiar with technical ins- and outs of Lotus Notes STMP Gateway and Exchange SMTP Relay
- Technical knowledge of applications in general using mail (in and outbound)
