BUSINESS ANALYST needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Philadelphia, PA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- On-shore/off-shore consulting practices.
- Test scenario/case development and execution.
- Understand SDLC processes.
- Functionality in the Global Field Financials project arena.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Develop time estimates for new or modified work items including constraints, dependencies and other variables under the guidance of the IT team.
- Estimate and establish cost parameters for new development of software, interfaces and process improvements.
- Work with a project manager to collapse new project items into individual or comprehensive plans.
- The Global Field Financials team is being created to develop, deploy and maintain the standard Field Financial System that will be used throughout client's global operations.
- This person will report to the IT Director and will principally support the GFF Solution Development team and as well as support various work streams for the Business Process and Standardization Teams all working toward the advancement of the Global Field Financials project.
- This individual will be directly responsible for developing the functional specifications that are the outputs from the business teams and incorporate processes and practices from the IT teams.
- This person will interact regularly with members of the field-based and tower-based user community, the development team, and have regular interactions with members of the LOB and Country Management Teams and the Deployment team.
- Coordination with all the aforementioned teams to ensure that the system requirements are understood and implemented as planned
- Solution or process design by re-engineering in collaboration with business users.
- Conducting workshops and meetings, documenting business requirements and preparing functional documentation.
- Organization of deliverables including follow-through communications until all parts and processes are finished and/or in production.
- Post-business discussion recaps or preparation and distribution of meeting notes, diagrams and other forms of functional outputs.
- Developing and maintaining documentation on current and future state of information technology systems, applications, interfaces and processes.
- Coordination with IT development staff to review requirements and integrate technical needs, prepare mockups, prepare business use case scenarios and other forms of technical documentation.
- Work closely with business leaders and their staff to validate assumptions, assess operating realities and determine deployment impact.
- Evaluate instructional learning/training materials, documentation, policies, standards and procedures related to the project.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business is preferred
- A minimum of four (4) years hands on experience as a business analyst, IT analyst or former developer/analysis.
- Very strong Analytical and Critical reasoning skills
- Creative and flexible in attitude and style to adapt to new situations in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment.
- Experienced in troubleshooting and solution design
