Technical Business Analyst (Dublin)

At the IT. Alliance Group we are looking to hire an experienced IT Business Analyst on a contract basis for a customer based in a prime location in the Dublin area. This is initially a 6 month contract but the project to which the IT Business Analyst will be assigned to is expected to run on therefore the Technical Business Analyst shall be required for the duration of the contract.

This is an extremely high profiled project within our customers shared services.

Some responsibilities of the Technical Business Analyst:

- Provide support for the mobilisation of in-house IT functions, including process definition, technology service levels
- Liaise with 3rd party technology vendors to triage, support & manage support/service stabilisation incidents 
- Liaise with 3rd party vendors to document and prioritise a backlog of technology enhancements
- Liaise with 3rd party vendors to co-ordinate end user testing activities
- Work with the broader team to identify technical issues arising from the transition
- Co-ordinate and communicate with other IT personnel as well as other IT groups within the organisation (such as server support, networking, DBA's) to implement solutions and fix issues within a set time frame
- Work with 3rd party vendors to resolve issues related to systems applications/software

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- 5 + year's experience as an IT/Technical Business Analyst
- Extensive experience documenting requirements and high level designs for enhancement's to technical systems
- Extensive experience in managing both internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in defining support/change processes in accordance with practice frameworks such as ITIL
- Experience in co-ordinating business testing of applications with internal and external users
- Experience working with HR application (Would be of an advantage)
- Experience working with PeopleSoft/Oracle applications (Preferable)
- Strong requirement gathering skills
- Excellent documentation skills
