Technical Business Analyst - Cardiff

TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST - AGILE - SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT - MATRIX MANAGEMENT - WEB ANALYTICS - CUSTOMER FACING PRODUCTS

Our well known Digital Broadcast client requires a Technical Business Analyst to join a part of large personalisation programme, working in the Analytics Services team, providing analytics functionality used by some of the worlds most popular media services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work alongside a team of developers to support and maintain the data processing pipeline that powers the companies audio and video analytics system across (phone, Tablet and Online)
- Create detailed process and data analysis as part of a support team maintaining and troubleshooting a complex analytics project
- Assess and analyse complex technical issues with a view to understanding the root cause and define the appropriate solution for either the project software development team or other teams to implement

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analysis working within a Broadcast of Media sector
- Experience of working closely with software development and integration teams with expert knowledge of Web Analytics and customer facing products
- Knowledge/skill in multiple methodologies such as Agile (particularly scrum) and other iterative development methodologies
- Ability to simplify complex problems, processes or projects into component parts explore and evaluate them systematically
- Working collaboratively with a number of teams across different products simultaneously
- Understanding of relevant technologies, especially online applications and web analytics
