Technical Business Analyst - Asset/Fund Management

Technical Business Analyst - Asset/Fund Management to gather and validate business requirements within an international bank in Zurich.
YOUR TASKS:
- Surveying, analysing and evaluating processes, products and services, by using a variety of internal and external data determining required solutions and assisting in implementations
- Documenting as is and to be processes and business requirements documents
- Supporting project management tasks in the areas of quality control and project management
- Coordinating the work of more Junior Analysts
- Working very closely with the senior IT solution architect
- Senior business analyst to gather/elicit and validate business requirements for a strategic adaptation of an existing end-to-end platform to asset management's needs.
- This entails the switch from single investments to pooled assets, functionality changes and data sourcing/capture from existing environment.
- The role covers both banking and technology. Also, the business analyst is expected to actively drive the scope in order to delivery to the very tight deadlines.
- This is a vital role for the discovery phase and the subsequent setup of a pilot platform.
- The business analyst will be working very closely with business SMEs and the senior IT solution architect.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Minimum 6 years experience as a Technical Business Analyst in large organisations
- Experience in Asset Management, preferably in Fund Management
- Long-term experience in process documentation and business requirements documentation
- Expertise in developing solutions and respective implementation plans as well as implementations
- Solid know-how of product/process/service enhancement and optimization as well as increasing the return on their various products and processes
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German would be a big plus
