One of our clients, a multinational company in the pharmaceutical industry is currently looking for a Support for Senior Sourcing Specialist
Start: ASAP
Length: min 6 months
Location: South of Brussels
FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:
- Lead procurement day to day projects/RFP, contract reviews,negotiation, and vendor performance
- Set/reinforce global procurement strategy for Advertising, PublicRelation, Congress, Market research, Heath economics, Competitive intelligence, Medical communication, Advocacy, Events, etc
- Consolidate, find synergies & set global strategies w the others Global Commercial sourcing group manager across GSK: Pharma,consumer, US.
- Provide ad hoc support to Commercial Sourcing group manager onspecific request
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive & Deliver source plan on identified categories/priorities both on vaccines and global scope.
- Drive RFP processes, define appropriate selection criteria, joinpitches and drive negotiations
- Document clear internal guidelines on new procurement approach
- Draft and review contracts identifying risks, making sure thedeliverables, costs, timeline, and responsibilities are clearly defined
- Lead/support compliance program introduction for the relevant managedsupplier base
- Drive RFI and Market analysis identifying strong player in one domain
- Benchmarking exercise, external benchmarking on specific activitiesand or profile regarding costs paid.
- Provide day to day management of the category: Approval of PO (firstline), review task order, invoice blocking support, build data reports (PV used, spend map, savings sheet, etc.), ABAC, SE,PII
- Report to Commercial sourcing group manager, provide analysis, statusreports
PREREQUISITES:
Education: University degree
Knowledge: Marketing and communication
Experience: at least 2-3 years experience in procurement
Skills:
- Strategic mindset
- Leadership skills
- Able to work in team
- Creative in generating procurements strategies
- Strong negotiation skills
- Able to challenge internal requirements
- Able to convince on new buying approach
- Able to work independently
- Strong communication skills
- Able the define clear objectives
- Able to deliver results with stretch deadline
