I am currently recruiting for a high profile aerospace company and they are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to work on a 6 month contract.
Key details of the role are as follows:
THE CLIENT
The client I am working with is one of the major players in the civil and aerospace markets, they are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to help support a growing team.
RATE: €50-60 PER HOUR
START DATE: ASAP (PREFERABLY WITHIN A MONTH)
LOCATION: NEAR BRUSSELS, BELGIUM
You will ensure the operational management of the suppliers, it will be your responsibility to obtain full availability at all times. You will monitor the suppliers and put in place necessary actions to detect/
anticipate/mitigate all risks which could lead to a break in the supply chain.
THE ROLE
SUPPLIES:
- Skip, track and re-order supplies,
- Ensure the availability of all the elements (technical data, materials and/or components) necessary for the suppliers to perform the services requested,
- Facilitate the handling of disputes: Non-compliance, receipt, invoices,
- Update SAP settings,
- Put in place optimized logistics conditions with the main suppliers,
- Monitor the level and consistency of stocks of purchased references.
SECURITY AND MONITORING PROVIDERS:
- Provide monthly monitoring of supplier performance (service rate, average delay index, etc.),
- Anticipate internal or external problems (material, quality, technical, logistics) involving a proven or potential rupture of the supply chain,
- Alert the responsible person of any drift,
- Manage, if necessary, remedial action plans for failing suppliers.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Expert in SAP and MS Office
- Full understanding of ISO9001 and the obligations and constraints of this.
- Minimum 5 years experience in Supplier Quality
ESSENTIAL:
THIS POSITION REQUIRES A BI-LINGUAL CANDIDATE IN FRENCH AND ENGLISH - ANY KNOWLEDGE OF DUTCH WOULD BE ADVANTAGEOUS. CANDIDATES WHO AREN'T AT LEAST BI-LINGUAL WILL UNFORTUNATELY NOT BE CONSIDERED
