Supply Chain/Purchasing/Buying/Procurement Officer - West Midlands - 6 months

Amoria Bond are urgently seeking a Supply Chain/Purchasing/Procurement Officer with an excellent opportunity to join one of our key clients; an electrical equipment manufacture within the rail industry based in the West Midlands on a contract basis. The contract has been agreed at an initial 3 months however is very likely to be extended.

The successful Supply Chain/Purchasing/Procurement Officer will be working within the engineering department providing procurement services and support to meet delivery targets.

The Role:
- Purchasing and procurement of all materials and parts
- Support and liaise with the engineering team on their procurement requirements
- Negotiation with potential suppliers
- Costing and target documentation
- Internal and external contact at all levels

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 Years Experience in Engineering Procurement
- Experience with outsourcing design and manufacturing
- Good negotiation Skills required
- CIPS or Equivalent/Technical HNC
