Stock Controller/Warehouse Auditor

Stock Controller, Warehouse Auditor, Cycle Count Coordinator required for a world leading Oil and Gas company based out of Aberdeen for a 6 month initial contract. Cycle counting is a daily audit of the warehouse transactions to ensure accuracy of stock and investigate variances.

Roles and Responsibilities

* Complete the daily cycle counting activities in a timely manner

* Make recommendations on how to align the physical findings and the system, and action

* Work to resolve issues of missing or excess stock and help generate preventative action plans

* Assist in general warehouse duties of moving stock around by hand or forklift, preparing goods for dispatch, checking stock for damaged and missing items

Desirable Skills and Competencies

* Previous experience of working in a Warehouse environment

* Must be computer literate, especially in Microsoft Office Systems

* Experience with MRP/SAP/ERP or other stock management systems

* Candidates must have either a Counter Balance or a Reach truck Forklift license or in-house certificate

* Well organized and capable of prioritizing, and working to agreed schedules

* Self-motivated and work well as part of a team

* Accuracy and attention to detail are essential for this role

* Previous experience within Oil and Gas or Engineering Sectors
