Up to £27,000 + £3096 Car Allowance

In order to meet our growing needs we have a fantastic new opportunity to join our organisation as a Stock Condition Surveyor on a fixed term contract for up to 12 months. Based from our Bristol office but working across all of the Sovereign operating regions and reporting to the Head of Stock Investment you will take responsibility for undertaking targeted stock condition surveys and other assessments including HHSRS and RDSAP 2009 to a range of Sovereign properties, using mobile tablet technology to assess the age and condition of properties and their individual components.

You will be responsible for ensuring that collected stock condition survey data is regularly and accurately transferred to the Keystone Asset Management system and will investigate any data discrepancies, whilst working closely with the Survey Manager to maximise the use of available survey time.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of undertaking stock condition surveys; ideally within the housing sector though other relevant sector experience will be considered. You will have Demonstrable knowledge of building construction and building defects with good knowledge of relevant legislation eg Decent Homes.

Previous knowledge and experience of collecting Energy data preferred

DEA (Domestic Energy Assessment) qualification preferred but not essential

Flexibility on travel is essential with some overnight stays required
