Splunk Analyst Developer - Dublin - Financial Services

Senior Splunk Analyst Developer with Financial Services industry experience is immediately sought by leading global organisation based in Dublin.

In addition the candidate must be able to demonstrate;

Strong overall development background (Java, JSP, HTML, Python) - 6 years minimum
Minimum 2 years Splunk experience with Splunk training completed
Experience with complex Splunk dashboards, event correlation, regex, scheduling, event types, development best practice
Ideally trained to Architect level with experience of Splunk deployments, configuration files, line breaking
Strong Data Analysis and Data Flow skills and log file analysis/aggregation
Strong design skills (User Interface, Application & technical design) - ability to conceptualise and visualize
Sound knowledge of SQL and RDBMS databases
Sound experience with Messaging (JMS etc.) and Event based architectures (ideally also using Splunk)
Good Working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating system commands/scripts
Self-Starter, task driven, who delivers high quality outputs
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to work with Business and IT stakeholders collaboratively
Experience of providing creative resolution of client needs
Experience of ensuring adherence to Architectural Policies and Standards (Compliance).
