Solution Architect (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- As solution architect you will be supporting the solution development by providing, communicating, and evolving the architectural vision of the solution
- Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, agile teams, suppliers, 3rd party vendors, and product management in defining technology solutions, decomposing the system into subsystems and components and managing their interfaces will be of your regular activities
- You will participate in the exploration process and high-level solution definition as well as define and decide on the right technology solution in support of new business features and epics
- Elaborating and selecting solution concepts to meet customer requirements and non-functional requirements for the solution is part of your duties
- It is your job to update and maintain architecture models, Airbus’ architecture repositories and documentation
- Defining and implementing Security by Design concepts will be your responsibility
- You will define and support the implementation of enabler features in close collaboration with the agile teams of the AIRINA release train
- As part of the architecture team you need to ensure compliance to Airbus architecture and security standards and requirements
- Following the SAFe cadence you will be regularly preparing and participating in SAFe events like PI Planning, Inspect and Adapt, and System Demonstrations

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design
- In-depth understanding of programming languages (Java, JavaScript)
- Understanding of micro service concepts and architectures
- Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases
- Efficient communication skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Archimate Language and Specification
- Architecture modeling tools like Enterprise Architect or ArchimateTool
- Language Skills: German and English
