Solution Architect (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Review business requirements specifications (BRS) to ensure alignment between customer expectations and current or future capability
- Verify and address non-functional requirements e.g. scalability, sustainability, security
- Conduct feasibility study of potential solutions to fulfil existing business requirements
- Define architecture-compliant Solution Strategy and Solution Design following architecture principles and technology standards, guidelines
- Enforce standardization, smooth integration to existing IT landscape
- Provide architecture diagrams, specifications to deliver and manage future solution, create and maintain respective documentation
- Provide guidance and consultancy on the usage of software solutions and technical integration options
- Act as a technical project manager, responsible for the delivery of software components and/or interfaces

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Study to university degree level (computer science or related disciplines)
- Profound relevant work experience in designing IT solutions
- Experience with microservices, REST API/GraphQL and event-based processing
- Knowledge of various integration patterns is a must
- Knowledge of software architecture and design, namely component based architecture is a must
- Knowledge and understating of software development lifecycle in DevOps environment
- Knowledge and experience of API management platforms e.g. APIGee, Axway, MuleSoft would be a plus
- Experience in identifying process improvements and beneficial usage of new technological developments
- Experience in P2P/Accounts Payable software such as Basware, Tradeshift, etc, is a nice to have
- Experience in SAP integration technologies is a nice to have
- Strong business and system acumen. Good understanding of project and application life cycles
- Strong customer service orientation
- Strong self-initiative and excellent analytical skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
