Solution Architect (m/f)

Our Client is an international operating company in the area of test systems for the semiconductor industry. For it's location in Boeblingen it is seeking you as Solution Architecture Engineer (m/f).

Type of contract: unlimited permanent position direct with our client

Your key tasks:
You will work in a cross-functional team that is responsible for the development of products and solutions for semiconductor manufacturers as well as test houses world-wide
You will be part of a project team, and deliver key technical contributions to ensure a successful product definition and product validation
You will Investigate and consolidate product requirements in cooperation with leading customers and internal partners
You will take care of application fit, consistency of design and low-effort solutions and resolve conflicting requirements
You will validate that the solution definition fulfills the target application’s and customer’s needs, analyse gaps and propose alternative solutions
You will make sure tha the product fully utilizes the modular platform strategy and fits into the software and hardware architecture
You will validate and demonstrate that the developed product actually conforms to the product definition, by creating test boards, setting up measurements etc.
You will work closely with other architecture and engineering teams (SW&HW), as well as marketing and field teams
You will represent the organization on customer visits, in standard committees and at conferences

Your profile:
Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics or similar
Minimum 3 years professional experience
Experience related to hardware / software development or test & measurement
Knowledge regarding high speed analog / RF electrical design and/or test and measurement
Ideally experience in semiconductor testing
Strong customer focus
Fluent Englisch language skills
