My clients are looking to add a new business salesperson to their software sales team based out of their offices, in Birmingham. With vertical offerings for construction and manufacturing, they are a top ten Microsoft Dynamics NAV partner with ambitious plans for growth, They also sell a wide range of different software into the construction sector.

The details of the role are as follows:

* New business sales across theUKselling into the construction industry vertical

* Working within a small team consisting of a sales manager and a presales demonstrator and supported in marketing and lead generation by the sales director.

* Carrying an annual target of around £600k of software services and annual maintenance, which would be made up of 4 average-sized deals per year.

The characteristics of the right candidate are:

* New business sales experience within the construction vertical or with a construction related product set.

* Lives within 1 ½ hours of the Birmingham office.

* An enthusiastic and outgoing personality that works well in customer facing situations.

* A strong work ethic and personal drive helping them to handle periods of high intensity in the sales cycle.

* experience selling software solutions and products.
