Software Engineer - Test Development Job

SOFTWARE ENGINEER - TEST DEVELOPMENT needed for a LONG TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Portland, OR.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Software Engineer - Test Development will be charged with development of test cases and test plans
- Software Engineer - Test Development will be responsible for automation of tests and White/Black Box testing
- Software Engineer - Test Development will develop and execute the tests that validate the product specifications document the test results and interact with the developers to ensure a quality product.
- Software Engineer - Test Development duties will also include: Running test cases on regular basis, reporting bugs and follow up with team members on closure.
- Analyzing HW/SW requirements, identifying potential problems early in the product life cycle and ensure product quality issues are resolved in a timely fashion.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS/CS with three to five (3-5) years as a Software Engineer
- MINIMUM OF TWO (2) PLUS YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL SOFTWARE VALIDATION EXPERIENCE
- Proficiency and skill with developing automation framework, scripts and White Box tests
- Experience in Python, Perl and Shell Scripts.
- Experience in builds and make files needed
- Experience using code versioning systems, handling code repositories and bugs database.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Prior experience in Android is preferred
- Programming experience in C/C++ is preferred
- Prior experience on mobile platforms is preferred
- Experience using git based versioning systems are preferred
