Software Engineer - Test

Yoh has a (12) month contract opportunity for a SOFTWARE ENGINEER - TEST to join our client near Portland, OR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Software Engineer will be part of a team developing TEST COMPONENTS for distributed computing involving audio, video, imaging and cloud technologies.
- Software Engineer will develop test tools and execute tests to ensure product specifications of software components are met, document the test results and interact with the developers to ensure a quality product.
- Software Engineer analyze Hardware and Software requirements and DEVELOP SCRIPTS.
- Responsibilities may also include analysing HW/SW requirements, identifying potential problems early in the product life cycle and ensure product quality issues are resolved in a timely fashion.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. in EE/CS/ECE or related subject matter
- Three to five (3-5) years software engineer experience
- Prior experience in testing multimedia and imaging products along with Middleware testing and debugging are minimum requirements.
- Proficiency in developing scripts, developing test harnesses, automated test suites using C# and Java.

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
- Proficiency in DEVELOPING SCRIPTS, DEVELOPING TEST HARNESSES, automated test suites using COM, .NET, COMMUNICATION PROTOCOLS, MULTIMEDIA, CLOUD SERVICES, LOAD TESTING EXPERIENCE, PROGRAMMING IN C++/C#, JAVA AND PERL.
