Software Engineer/Scrum Master Job

LEAD SOFTWARE ENGINEER/SCRUM MASTER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Hillsboro, Oregon.

THE BIG PICTURE:

Our client is looking for a Senior-level developer with commercial software development experience, as well as experience in algorithm design, data structures, design patterns and software architecture.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Lead software engineer, focused on developing commercial quality, HIGH PERFORMANCE COMPUTE/MACHINE LEARNING ENGINES, COMPLETE WITH APIS, SDKS, TOOLING, DOCUMENTATION AND CODE SAMPLES
- Lead the day to day development activities of an agile team of engineers developing high performance, COMMERCIAL QUALITY COMPUTE/MACHINE LEARNING ENGINES (ALGORITHMS).
- Will perform the scrum master role in the agile team, ensuring planning, retrospectives and daily standups proceed normally.
- 70% of time spent coding, 30% spent planning and performing scrum master duties.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- C/C++, ten (10+) years
- C# or Java, five (5+) years
- Python, one to two (1 - 2) years
- Scrum/Agile - two (2+) years on a scrum team
- Has designed and developed Software APIs and SDKs used in a commercial setting
- Has worked on and delivered commercial software used by thousands of users
- Experience with CI/CD, unit testing
- Linux/Unix, Windows

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Knowledge of SQL and noSQL databases
- Experience with machine learning algorithms
- Knowledge of performance and memory profilers
