Working for an excellent organisation, the hiring Manager is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated experienced Site Supervisor to sit within a very busy project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the coordination and monitoring of the construction works related on this rail project. The project also includes the operation and maintenance of the current system as well as the two new lines once they are built.

Responsibility will include;
*Ensuring that Traction Power Supply installations comply with the documents and that quality requirements and deadlines are met
*Collecting and signing daily reports relating to activity and forwarding them to Management
*Ensuring that works meet the requirements of the construction documents
*Ensuring the relevant equipment is installed in conformity with the basic and detail designs, the installation procedures, the QA/QC system, to time and forecasted costs
*Participating on the preparation of the Time Schedule.
*Defining the necessary resources both human and material.

Previous experience of working as a Site Supervisor on electrical power system distribution construction projects is required.

This role is a "Fixed Term" contract which is expected to be initially until December 2014. Please note that our client can only accept applications from candidates who are eligible to work in the UK without restrictions, as they are unable to provide sponsorship.
