Sharepoint Web Application Developer

Our client is currently looking for experienced Sharepoint Web Application Developer. As an Applications Developer, you will be required to work as a analyst programmer in the development of SharePoint and web applications to meet business requirements. These applications will be used both internally and externally.

KEY FUNCTIONS WILL INCLUDE:

- Work closely with business analysts and SQL developers to document the technical implementation of customer requirements
- Reviewing technical specifications
- Analysing complex customer problems and requirements and develop appropriate solutions

MANDATORY SKILLS:

- experience in a SharePoint Developer position with SharePoint 2007
- Commercial experience in a SharePoint Developer position with SharePoint 2010;
- experience in Microsoft .NET 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 C# and ASP.NET;
- Expert knowledge of all out-of-the-box, end-user SharePoint functionality
- Experience in SQL Server 2005/2008 and TSQL;
- Experience in General Web Technology (HTML JavaScript etc);

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- In-depth understanding of systems development life cycle (SDLC), application development methodology
- Experience working with Team foundation server and performing release management
- Proven ability to conduct face to face customer/internal meetings
- Experience working with data driven web applications
- Attention to detail, pro-active and ability to identify potential threats/weaknesses and cover off before they eventuate. Analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to research and to apply problem-solving skills to complex technical problems
