Sharepoint 2010 Deployment consultants wanted for our end client in the Hague!

Background:
Our client has decided to move to one single information management platform for document management and team collaboration, Sharepoint 2010 (SP10), to optimise information and to reduce costs. Existing platforms will be migrated to SP10 in a phased approach. The first step is to move all content from the current Sharepoint 2007 platform (SP07) and from Livelink (LL). Other platforms, like shared drives, are to follow.

The migrations from SP07 to SP10 are planned for second half year of 2012, extending in the first half year of 2013, for Livelink 2013/2014. Nearly 900 Sharepoint sites and as a first estimate over 2.000 Livelink workspaces are on the list. A good start has already been made. Business continuity is priority number one.

The team of Deployment Consultants will support the business in migrating their SP07 sites to the SP10 platform.
Firstly the data collected so far have to be validated with the owners of the sites, collections and applications.
Secondly the Deployment Consultants will support the owners with preparing for their migration, informing them on the steps that will be taken and their role.
Thirdly the Deployment Consultants will work with the owners during roll-out and afterwards to solve any questions and issues.
Last step is a validation including site owner sign-off.

Responsibilities:
1. Support the site owner in preparing for migration.
2. Support the site owner during roll-out.
3. Support the site owner to validate the migrated site.

Technical Skills:
1. Solid IT background.
2. Good knowledge of Sharepoint
3. Livelink experience is an advantage

Soft Skills:
1. Excellent communication skills
2. Works accurately.
3. Works well in a team.
4. Good analytical skills.
5. A good self starter - pro-active.
6. Fluent in English.
