Our client a leading Financial Services organisation are currently looking to recruit a strong Service Operations Support Analyst. Ideally you will come from an operations/production support background and have exposure to the Financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities - * Provide daily support and troubleshooting in a production environment.
* Resolution of complex production problems.
* Technical support for the full range of applications as well as any project related activities.
* Write Shell and SQL scripts when necessary to help in the diagnosis of faults.
* Develop QA scripts for all applications.
* Looking at measurement and process improvement within current support structures with the aim of continual service improvement.
* 3+ years of financial support experience preferably in a global operation
* Knowledge of Back Office processes
* Strong Technical skill set including admin experience of some of the following: Windows, UNIX, Red Hat Linux, VMS and Client Server systems - Databases: SQL Server/Oracle/DB2 plus demonstrable SQL analytical skills.
