Server, Backup and Storage Management

T4S Solutions are Urgently looking for Experienced and Senior level Server, Backup and Storage Consultants to work in Brussels on a 12 month extendable contract.

NATURE OF THE TASKS EXPERIENCED:

- Operations Role
- Validation and testing of new procedures before release.
- Development of scripts to improve central management and control facilities (central alerting, central logging, central security polices implementation ...).
- Drafting of procedures, installation notices and scripts for the integration, installation and upgrade of services.
- Participate in the 2nd Level on-call standby service.
- Project Management Role:
- Assistance with the roll-out of new ICT infrastructure projects.

NATURE OF THE TASKS SENIOR:

- Operations Role
- Participate in the 3rd Level on-call standby service.
- Project Management Role
- Serve as technical lead for designing, planning, assessing, implementing and/or migrating of the production environment for HQ and Delegations.
- Implementation of test environment and "Proof of Concept" (POC).

- Management of central monitoring infrastructure.
- Writing operational guidelines for the system administrators.
- Participation in training seminars for IT officers

- ITIL v.3 Foundation certification is a requirement of the contract and needs to be obtained, at the latest, 3 months after the start date
- AT LEAST one technical certification (besides ITIL) in their area of expertise (ie related to the component they are proposed for)secondary school (12 years education) diploma/certificate of completion is required for Junior and Experienced, two are required for Senior
