Senior Test Manager - Contract - Insurance - Data

SENIOR TEST MANAGER - DATA MANAGEMENT PROJECT - INSURANCE INDUSTRY - DUBLIN, IRELAND
CONTRACT DAILY RATE - EURO;450 - EURO;465
THE ROLE:
- A methodical and proactive hands on Senior Test Manager, with experience of leading large complex projects, is required by my Client to co-ordinate all aspect of testing for my Clients Data Management programme of work.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
- Test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution.
- Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status.
- Collects and analyses data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrates them into business processes to address the needs of the business.
- Document all problems and assist in their resolution.
- Deliver quality process training to technical staff and act as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners.
- Perform quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed.
- Demonstrates specific technological knowledge of: RPTG (Cognos)/ETL (DATASTAGE), or other (PEGA, Sharepoint, PAM, Ariba, etc).
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
- Experience of core International DATA DOMAINS/PROJECTS.
- 5 years insurance/financial services operations, customer, data and or technology experience
- 5 YEARS SENIOR TEST MANAGER with responsibilities in complex integrated systems environment
- 5 years Software Testing domain with strong understanding of the tools, techniques and process involved and proven Test Manager track record
- Test performance measurement, analysis and metrics related experience
- Experience in change management/implementation and planning
- Extensive Experience of HP Quality Centre
- ISEB Foundation in Software Testing or similar relevant accreditation.
Desirable not essential
- Good working knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing including entity relationship
- Experience with hands on HTML, XML, JavaScript, SQL and related web technologies
- Experience with data domains/data standards/data aggregation/principles of data management/master data management, data quality/associated tools.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, information systems, engineering, science, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and work experience).
