Senior Test Manager

My Dublin based client has an immediate requirement for a SENIOR TEST MANAGER to join them on A 6 MONTH CONTRACT BASIS. The preference is for someone available on short notice.

The Daily rate is negotiable depending on experience.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

- Document the Test Strategy for testing the GM Domain applications (around 100 apps) impacted by the desktop upgrade of Windows 7 and IE (IE version to be confirmed)
- Assess and propose a Risk Based approach where appropriate - consider where Functional Testing is required because the application is being changed to support Windows/IE compatibility, consider where regression testing is required because the application is not being changed, however, it needs to be functionally tested on the new Windows/IE environment
- Size the Test Resource execution requirement
- Document the System and UAT plans for testing the applications
- Present the UAT plan to the various business units that support the Global Markets domain
- Manage the system and business testers through the plan
- Manage the raising and resolution of any test issues
- Document weekly test status reports and circulate to the appropriate stakeholders
- Ensure clear, efficient communication to the various stakeholders - IT stakeholders and Business stakeholders
- Manage environment provisioning requests to the Test Environment team - identify what environments are needed, how long they are needed for etc.
