Senior Scientist

Senior Scientist wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- University Degree (B.Sc./M.Sc.) in life sciences like Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc.
- At least 5 years' experience working as a Scientist
- Excellent communication skills with independent working routine
- Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Acting as Single Point of Contact for several different groups within the Early Phase Development Department
- Supporting supplier qualification for new excipients as well as integrating novel excipient into SAP landscape
- Assessing impact changes in excipient suppliers/excipient qualities along with forecasting excipient needs for GMP and Non-GMP production
- Establishing relationship with all raw material specialized suppliers for cell culture, cell selection and formulation
- Defining all import administrative requirements and reviewing and assessing each raw material used for the manufacturing process
